About
About me
Studied at Camberwell School of Art in the 60's then onto teaching Art and Design for 25 years before moving into commercial design. I retired in 2001 to pursue my love of painting.
My History

It was in France that I started to paint first in Acrylics then in Oils. I see painting as a constant and always an exciting challenge, a journey if you will experimenting in different subjects and media, from landscapes, still life and seascapes, and even Digital Art. Painting is a means of expressing my feeling for the subjects I take on, striving to improve my skills and a personal endeavour to achieve satisfaction. The work on this website depicts the dividing line between abstract and realism, allowing the onlooker to see the shapes and colours that intrigue.
"Paintings have a life of their own that derives from the painter's soul"
Vincent Van Gogh
